... zurück zur deutschen Seite/back to the german page

Welcome to my english section. Altough I'm just another bloody 'Kraut' I have intense relations to the UK since I have to work in close contact with our UK-Branch Transco UK Ltd. in Dartford/Kent. We are an international freight forwarding Company with their main site in Konstanz, where I live and afiliates all over Europe.
Me ???

Well, already passed the thirty now, but still looking and feeling young (you didn't need to comment that ...). I live in Konstanz at the Lake of Konstanz directly on the Swiss border, together with my wife, Doris and our Cat. No childs so far.
The reason for me to create these pages was to give you a bit of information on where I live, what I do and what I like. There are no commercial links or banners on these pages, so feel free to click whereever you like. But ... so far most of the links lead to german pages ...

The map is possibly not the best one to be found, but in the moment I have no other. This page is still under construction, so don't blame me for any missing details or the faults I have done ...I'm trying to improve and open for tips how to make things better.

How it all began...

As quite a lot of german guys in the early eighties it began with the Commodore C 64, first steps in basic and a lot of silly games. These times were ideal to learn how this machine works and how to manipulate it ... and to play. of course.

After a while this was not enough, so I started over to get an ATARI ST together with my brother (he is quite an expert in regards of Midi-recording, nowadays more in CD-recordings and electronic musics, as well as in computers; check out his page). We mostly used the computer as a Midi-Recorder for our music-projects and as a better typewriter and for small and simple graphics. I have used it for these reasons 'til 1996.

Summer 1996 I decided to get on to a PC at last; P1 at the time (then it was 'state of the art' and cost me a fortune), finally got up to a sophisticated system last year, unless, as ever, this is in regards of Standards, already an old one
Well, since I'm no gamer, I do not need the speed, only the graphics performance is important sometimes

Me ...

I work in an international freight forwarding company in Konstanz in the GB-Imports dept. In private aspects my favourites are computing and car/motorbike-restauration if I have the time, enough space and my wife doesn't moan too much if i stay for days in our garage. Additionally my house is in need of restauration too, so I can't really spend too much time on such useless things like old cars and bikes ...

Some of my favourite links
(more to be found on the mainpage)
As already mentioned above, Midi-freaks should take a look onto the homepage of my brother

A very special friend; known worldwide as exceptional artist: Roland Heyder. Take a look on his paints and you will agree!

Something for YOU out there (I know you like to drive fast): Porsche
